What Makes Korb Law Group Different?
Seven Key Factors do…
Experience: Richard E. Korb, who heads the firm, is a seasoned attorney with 30 years of experience and several hundred cases under his belt. Mr. Korb brings to the table his experience in the big firm world and as senior counsel to public companies–but without the overhead or costs associated with a big firm. He has handled many tough cases for individuals, start-ups and large companies in and out of court. Mr. Korb is also an experienced negotiator who has represented clients in mediations, arbitrations and other ADR proceedings throughout Northern California.
Personalized Attention: We understand the value of personalized attention and efficientservice: In many law firms, your case won’t be handled by a senior partner unless you have a major case and are prepared to pay thousands of dollars. Often, your case will be assigned to a young attorney who will learn on your dime. At Korb Law Group, we will not pass off your case off to an inexperienced associate or assistant or make you feel like you’re in a “mill.” Richard will personally handle and represent you each step of the way. If you need to appear in court, Mr. Korb will be at your side. Your case is never “too small” and we will not pass off your case off to an inexperienced associate or legal assistant.
Professionalism: Richard Korb is professional, yet, down-to-earth and compassionate. Richard is not aloof or intimidating. Richard understands that each client is different and that they are often facing difficult choices at a very stressful time. Richard will listen carefully, take the time to analyze the circumstances unique to each client, communicate clearly, and help them make the best decision.
Efficiency: We keep our overhead low to save you time and money while allowing you to get the benefit of a senior attorney at your side–with the goal of minimizing stress and maximizing efficiency.
Affordability: Finally, we are very affordable—about half the cost of a lawyer of similar experience at a big firm.
Unique Background: Richard Korb leverages his unusually broad background of legal and business experience to save you time and money and get your case resolved without the stress and pain of endless litigation and court appearances. Because Richard has handled several hundred cases in different areas, has counseled large and small companies and is a trained negotiator andmediator, he can often leverage his broad skills to negotiate practical solutions to many legal problems that will save you time, money and stress. At the same time, he has the depth of experience to take your case all the way when settlement is not an option.

Superior Credentials and Training: Richard Korb graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, Phi Beta Kappa with highest honors in Political Science and Public Policy and received his J.D. from the University of California Hastings College of the Law, where he was a contributing editor to the Hastings International Law Review and a finalist in Moot Court. After serving as a partner in a major law firm and as senior counsel for public companies, Richard decided to open up his own firm—focusing on individuals as well as companies. He has counseled and represented several hundred individuals and companies of all shapes and sizes in and out of court. As outside counsel, Richard successfully negotiated and litigated several hundred court cases in diverse areas. As business counsel to private and public companies, Richard has drafted and negotiatedseveral hundred contracts, leases and licenses.
